Reader Discussion: Do You Have To Finish One Game Before Starting Another?
The nature of this job requires playing multiple games at once, but when I play games for my own personal enjoyment, I try really hard to finish one before starting another. Fez released on Friday, and even though I have been looking forward to it since it was first announced half a decade ago, I told myself I have to finish Mass Effect 3 first. Also my wife, who beat Mass Effect 3 a few weeks ago, was getting really frustrated about not being able to discuss the ending with me. I knew if I started Fez, there was a good chance I would never return to Mass Effect 3, despite being only a few missions from the end.
What about you? Do you have to finish one game before starting the next? Or are you perpetually playing three to four games simultaneously at any given time?
