Assassin's Creed III Will Be Ubisoft's Most Pre-orderd Game Ever
Assassin's Creed III sure is popular. Publisher Ubisoft said today the game is already on track to become the most pre-ordered title in the company's history in North America.
Since being available for pre-order three weeks ago, Assassin's Creed III has more reserves than any previous game in the series in the same time period for North America. Assassin's Creed II has more than 10 times the U.S. pre-order total Assassin’s Creed Revelations had during the same period.
Additionally, the game has reached Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood’s life-to-date U.S. pre-order total. Assassin’s Creed III is on track to match the life-to-date U.S. pre-order figures for Ubisoft’s previously most pre-ordered game, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, by E3.
Assassin's Creed III is out on October 30 for Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. The publisher was unable to share Wii U launch details at this time.
