The Rock Will Continue To Roll In Rock Band 3
Harmonix says it will continue to expand the over 3,500 song library available in Rock Band 3 with continued weekly releases.
Joystiq caught up with Harmonix's John Drake at GDC this week, and quizzed him on plans to maintain the unprecedented approach to weekly DLC that has characterized the Rock Band platform up to this point. "We've been really pleased with the continued performance of Rock Band downloadable content. We've delivered over four years of weekly DLC and over 3,500 songs for the music platform, and we have no plans to stop weekly releases any time soon," Drake said.
It's now safe to say that no game in history has had such a robust collection of expandable content available for download. Just this morning we received word of three new songs from the band Three Days Grace which are headed to Rock Band on March 13th.
