Preorder Sniper Elite V2, Shoot Hitler Right In The Kisser
Rebellion's Sniper Elite V2 puts players in the combat boots of a sniper in the waning days of World War II. If you preorder the game, you can play a mission that sounds like a perfect way to accelerate the process: find Adolph Hitler and take him out.
Here's how publisher 505 Games describes the task: "Intel has been received that Hitler is returning from Berchtesgaden to Berlin via his personal train. Players must intercept the train as it waits at the station and take down the Fuhrer as he hastily makes way for the station on foot. There is only one opportunity to snipe Hitler and do what so many wish had been done – make it count."
As a preorder bonus through participating retailers including Game Informer's parent company, GameStop, players can unlock the exclusive mission along with new weapons the Soviet SVT-40 and German service rifle the Kar 98. To gain the bonuses, preorder the game before the game's May 1 release date.
Judging from the image above, this looks to be regular-ol' Hitler, not the minigun-equipped version of the Führer we blasted apart in Wolfenstein 3D. Whew.
