NBA Live 13 Returns This Fall
EA Sports' long-standing basketball series is coming back this year.
The publisher confirmed the new game and promised more details soon. "We have a new studio and a new development team, and this fall we’ll launch an all-new experience that captures the future of basketball with NBA Live 13," EA said.
"We’re looking forward to players giving us their feedback on the game, and next month we’ll welcome in fans from around the country to join in on the process of creating NBA Live 13 as well – more on that on Monday."
It's been a rocky road from EA Sports' basketball game recently. The publisher pulled the plug on newly rebranded NBA Elite 11 a week before release due to quality issues and did not release a basketball title in 2010 or 2011. Development has since shifted to EA's Tiburon studio based in Florida.
