Dance Your Way To Invincibility In Old Republic
UPDATE: BioWare has already patched the exploit out. Kudos to the developer for being so on the ball.
ORIGINAL STORY: Plenty of games let you dance your way to victory. Several hugely successful series are explicitly built around the idea. But I bet you wouldn't have guessed that BioWare's recently released MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, is one of them.
Posted on YouTube by an enterprising SW:TOR gamer, the clip below shows how enemies refuse to use any of their attacks at a player currently engaged in the /getdown emote (activated by typing /getdown into your chat window).
I'm betting that this doesn't quite count as a creative use of game mechanics, unless someone can point out the relevant subsection of the Treaty of Coruscant.
