Hot Shots Golf For Vita In Japan Requires Online Pass For Online Play
Sony is calling it an Online Play Ticket, but we know what it really is.
The pass is included with the retail game, but this is a first for the handheld scene. You would think that Sony would want to get people used to the idea of playing online on the Vita with as few barriers as possible. With a new console everything is new and shiny, and should be welcoming. Requiring new Vita adopters to enter codes to play online might turn them off from playing the handheld online altogether. New vita owners might think, "do I have to do this for every game?" Of course, for all we know, maybe we will.
