Nintendo has never offered paid DLC for any of its games, but that is set to change in March when paid DLC will be made available for the Japanese 3DS Fire Emblem game.

The DLC will cost a few hundred yen and will offer new additional content for the game, as opposed the the type of DLC often seen on mobile games that will often offer additional credits or make the game easier to those players willing to pay.

The report of upcoming DLC comes from Japan's Nikkei, and it also states that consumers can expect to see DLC on the Wii U.
