Lionhead Hiring For MMO-Ish Project
A Microsoft job listing on behalf of Guildford, England's Lionhead Studios (Fable franchise) is searching for someone with MMO passion and experience.
What's interesting about the listing, is that it doesn't straight out say it's looking for someone to work on an MMO, but rather is seeking "someone who enjoys playing MMO games and has significant experience with the workings of a massive online multiplayer environment."
We may be reading too much into this whole thing, but could it be that Lionhead is looking for someone with enough MMO experience to fold those qualities into another genre? Will this be the other, non-Fable: The Journey project that Peter Molyneux has talked about?
Given Microsoft's resistance to putting up an MMO on Xbox Live (at least for third parties), it'll be interesting to see what becomes of this project.
