Weekend Warrior 12/9/11

by Ben Reeves on Dec 09, 2011 at 01:00 PM

It’s cold. We’re staying inside. We might also watch some video game trailers, but we’ll still be doing that inside.

Tim Turi: This weekend I’ll be embarking on two very different adventures. I’ll continue my exploits as Link as he tracks down the perpetually lost Zelda. When I’m not collecting rupees, I’ll be racking up kills in Modern Warfare 3. I’m hopelessly addicted to snatching dog tags in Kill Confirmed, and don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Andrew Reiner: I have a busy weekend planned. Phil Kollar, Jim Reilly and I will be covering Spike's Video Game Awards on Saturday. You'll be able to see our coverage right here on Game Informer.com starting at 7 PM CT. I also hope to see The Muppets with my wife Kelly at some point this weekend. All of my remaining time will be sunk into The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Sons of Anarchy: Season 3, and The Adventures of Tintin (which is actually a decent game).

Kyle Hilliard: I will be doing laundry, cleaning my house, celebrating my wife’s birthday by forcing people to come hang out at my house, doing more laundry, playing Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, doing one final load of laundry, and then I will do some dishes. I also really want to buy a coat tree.

Jason Oestreicher: It's become unbearably cold here in Minnesota and I'm struggling with finding ways to keep warm. Perhaps I'll use my laptop as a makeshift heating pad. I figure ultra settings on Witcher 2 will stave off frostbite quite nicely.

Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I plan to finish up playing my Game of the Year candidates. This will include time with Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3, and LittleBigPlanet 2. That said, I might still sneak a little time with Skyrim (as if it’s possible to play Skyrim for a small amount of time), and spend some more time on the battlefield in…er, Battlefield 3. Too many battlefields.

Phil Kollar: I’m trying to prepare for Star Wars: The Old Republic. That means attempting to clear Saints Row: The Third off my plate and also working through my Insanity-difficulty second playthrough of Mass Effect 2. I’ll also be taking a break this weekend to watch the VGAs. That will be…something. I’m sure.
