Report: Square Enix Hiring For Another Action RPG

Hot on the heels of artwork for an upcoming Square Enix action RPG powered by Unreal Engine 3 comes news that another project may also be in the works.

Andriasang has found a few job listings for positions at Square Enix's 1st Production Department (the studio behind some of the Final Fantasy titles and the Kingdom Hearts franchise) that talk about an upcoming PlayStation 3 and Vita action RPG title using Square's own Unity engine. This latter point would seem to differentiate it from the above-mentioned action RPG using Epic's engine.

Apart from the usual RPG character growth systems, the listings for the unannounced title point to features such as an air ship that flies over the game's world map and which features its own gameplay elements. The airship is customizable, can be used as an inn and for checking on your game progress.
