Report: Day 1 Studios Loses Konami Deal, Prepares For Closure

Sources close to Gamespot say Day 1, the studio responsible for Fracture and F.E.A.R. 3, has trimmed off 100 of its employees as it gets ready to close up shop.

A whopping 95 percent of Day 1's Silent Scope team was laid off following the cancellation of a deal made with Konami for another game in the series. It's been a decade since we've seen an entry in the sniper-centric arcade shooter, and it looks like we'll have to wait even longer now.
