UFC On Xbox Live Starts This Month
As Xbox Live moves towards providing cable content, the online service is also set to debut UFC pay-per-view events and other UFC-related content on Xbox Live.
Starting on December 20, UFC on Xbox Live launches, and Xbox Live Gold members* will be able to purchase pay-per-view fights (including old ones), make predictions on fights (including a friends' leaderboard), view the interactive fight cards, watch event previews, interviews, etc., and more. Kinect owners can also use the peripheral to navigate the service.
This content goes live on the 20th, but the first UFC live fight won't be until December 30th with UFC 114: Lesner vs. Overeem.
*Gold members will get access to premium features such as these (remember: pay-per-view fights are sold separately), although Microsoft hasn't delineated what the non-premium content will be.
