Upcoming Comic Tells The Origins Of The Jedi Order

This isn't game related, per se, but I thought the Star Wars fans out there would like to know how the Jedi came to be. I've never given their origin story much thought, and I honestly never thought George Lucas would let a writer explore this territory in his universe, but come February 15, writer John Ostrander will tell us how it all began in a new Dark Horse comic book series.

Few details about this story have been revealed, but Dark Horse's website does offer this small tease:

On the planet Tython, in the center of the galaxy, an order of warrior monks strives to maintain peace and to balance the mysterious power known as the Force. But a stranger is coming--one who will destroy both peace and balance, and open the galaxy to exploration and conquest. This is where it all begins!
