Super Street Fighter II With Online Play Coming To Virtual Console
It's been a constant complain amongst some Wii users that Virtual Console titles tend to be straight ports without any work done to fix bugs or provide changes that would make sense for a modern audience. It may be late in the Wii's life cycle, but Capcom is looking to change this trend finally.
The announcement comes via the Capcom Unity blog, where they lead by saying that Super Street Fighter II for Genesis is coming to Virtual Console in Japan with the addition of online play. Before freaking out too much, let Capcom assure you: The online-enabled edition of SSF II will make its way to Europe and the U.S. as well. The publisher just hasn't set specific dates yet.
Anyone excited to go online with this classic title or is it too little too late as far as improving on Virtual Console releases?
