Sony To Limit PSN Game Sharing

by Jim Reilly on Nov 04, 2011 at 04:49 AM

Sony said today PlayStation Network users will only be able to play game content on up to two activated PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable systems.

The change will go into effect starting November 18 for all content purchased on or after that date. Content purchased before the date will not be affected. This policy change includes PSP-1000/2000/3000 series and  PSPgo. Sony says it plans to provide a new PlayStation Network account management website, where users can deactivate certain devices. For more on how to activate and deactivate devices head over to Sony's consumer services guide.
