2K Sports Adds To NBA 2K12's Legends Showcase DLC Roster

by Matthew Kato on Nov 03, 2011 at 04:38 AM

NBA 2K12 is adding to its legendary status with the addition of a separate mode: The Legends Showcase. The DLC includes 160 NBA greats in cell-shaded fashion.

Publisher 2K Sports has just announced the addition of 45 previously unannounced players to the DLC package, including everyone from Bob Cousy to Jalen Rose.

The Legends Showcase will come out sometime this holiday season for $9.99 on PSN or 800 Microsoft Points for Xbox Live, and features cell-shaded showdowns in New York's Times Square. Minigames like 21 and horse complement more traditional 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 gameplay. You can also play Classic Quick Match online with legendary teams in a regular simulation setting if you like.
