No Online Play For Monster Hunter 3G

Capcom confirmed on its support page (via Siliconera) that Monster Hunter 3G for the Nintendo 3DS will not feature online play.

The game will still allow players to connect locally, however. The online functionality will be used for downloadable event quests.

Monster Hunter 3G launches this December in Japan with a North American release likely coming early next year.
