Exclusive Early Look At Halo - The Art Of Building Worlds
A new book chronicles the gorgeous concept art that's gone into ten years of the Halo franchise. We've got details on the project, and some exclusive snippets of art from the book.
Halo fans have a sweet addition headed to their coffee table this holiday season. The Great Journey: Halo - The Art of Building Worlds is about to release to retail on October 18th. The beautiful hardback art book has over 180 pages of glossy Halo art for you to ogle.
The volume is filled with sections on the major elements of the Halo fiction, from a dedicated chapter on Master Chief and depictions of different planets in the long-running story, to full-color illustrations of Forerunner architecture and Covenant weaponry. All told, the book includes 400 images of art that has appeared over the last decade.
Publisher Titan Books was kind enough to send over a few art images from the book. Take a look in the media gallery below, and if you're excited about the project, you can watch for its release next week. The new Halo art book has a suggested retail price of $29.95.
