Telltale Games Says iPad Is Its Fastest Growing Platform

by Matt Helgeson on Oct 05, 2011 at 06:54 AM

If you didn't know, Apple has a tablet computer called the "iPad." It's kind of a big deal. So big, in fact, that Telltale Games, the adventure game whizzes behind such franchises as Sam & Max, Jurassic Park, and Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, says that Apple's iOS platforms are quickly becoming one of the company's biggest priorities.

“The iPad has been the fastest-growing revenue driver for us so far in 2011," said Telltale co-founder and CEO, Dan Connors. "With more than 30 million devices sold to date and analyst projections expecting another 54 million in 2012, we expect that trend to continue in the foreseeable future. Our expertise as a leading digital publisher for over seven years has us ideally positioned to exploit this momentum. The iPad is a perfect format for the cinematic adventures we create."

To capitalize on this success, the company has over 30 new games planned for iOS by the end of 2011.
