If you're one of those people who plans ahead, here's yet another potential reward for your punctual behavior. Publisher 2K Games has announced that folks who preorder the Darkness II will get a free upgrade to the game's limited edition. This special version includes both exclusive in-game content and additional goodies.

Here's what the limited edition will get you:

  • The "Crazy Abdul" alternate costume for your darkling
  • Two character upgrades, including a bonus for eating hearts and an aid to help locate hidden collectables
  • Custom box art from Marc Silvestri
  • A free digital download of The Darkness Origins comics, volumes one and two

The Darkness II is set for a February 7 release on the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
