Find A Golden Abomination For A Chance To Win $50k
While you're traipsing in the woods in Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012, keep an eye out for a golden buck. Bagging the unique metallic creature could be the only thing between you and a $50,000 prize.
Of course, things are a little bit more complicated than merely finding the thing. Did you expect a check to automatically fly out of your console's optical-media drive? At any rate, if you do manage to track down the golden buck somewhere in the game's story mode, Activision wants you to snap a photo of yourself in front of your television with the buck clearly framed in the shot. Upload the photo and the registration code (packaged inside new copies of the game) to the Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 Facebook page. The contest started two days ago, and it runs through October 25. Activision will select a random winner from the entries. For complete contest rules, check out the Facebook page.
Notice that Activision doesn't say that the animal has to be alive. I hear that it's filled with wishes and delicious chocolate. You know what you have to do.
