Uncharted Novelization Hitting Before The Release Of Uncharted 3

by Kyle Hilliard on Sep 21, 2011 at 06:39 AM

If you simply cannot wait until November 1 to spend some quality time with Nathan Drake and his pals in Uncharted 3, you're in luck. On October 4 the book Uncharted: The Fourth Labyrinth, written by Christopher Golden, will be available in stores.

DC also has plans to publish a six part Uncharted comic book series, but that won't be available until after you've been able to spend some quality time with Uncharted 3. The first issue of the series is set to release on October 30. The series will be written by Joshua Williamson with art by Sergio Sandoval, covers by Tony Harris, and at least one variant cover for issue #1 by Adam Hughes.

The comic is set to take place before the events of Uncharted 2, but there is no word on the exact timeline of the book. In the The Fourth Labyrinth, Drake will be searching for the secrets of alchemy, untold wealth, and dodging bullets. In the Uncharted comic, Drake will be seeking out a city that is said to reside near the Earth's core and will continue to dodge bullets. Drake gets shot at quite a bit during all of his adventures. He probably even gets shot at during his non-adventures, like going to get some coffee.

Uncharted 3 will be available on November 1 for PlayStation 3. Click here to get some more info.
