Mark Your Calendar For Battlefield 3's Open Beta

DICE and Electronic Arts have finally revealed the day when players will be able to check out Battlefield 3's open beta on PC and consoles. Better still, it's coming in less than two weeks from now.

The open beta begins September 29 on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. If you've planned ahead, there's a chance you can get in a few days before that, too. Players who either preordered the PC version game through EA's Origin service or inexplicably purchased the limited edition of Medal of Honor for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC can start liquifying skulls starting on September 27.

The beta ends October 10.
