Sony just posted the first trailer for the HD PlayStation 3 remake of the cult classic Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Developer Just Add Water also revealed a few details about the project.

In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray said that the game is now in the beta and bug-fixing stage. He also detailed some of the improvements and enhancements fans can expect over the original version.

"It’s been a long road for us, and we’ve made a whole truck full of updates," writes Gilray. "We’ve updated EVERY one of 83 characters in the game, the vast majority of the environmental textures, and a lot of the environment geometry. We’ve also completely updated the user interface, added some easter eggs into the game, and a whole raft of unlockable extras — some never seen before, and some rarely seen."

While the post, did not specify a release date, the game is supposed to be released by the end of 2011.
