Namco Shares New Trailer And Gameplay Details For PSVita Katamari Damacy
In a new blog post, Namco Bandai community manager Rich Bantegui shared the first trailer for the company's new Katamari Damacy title for Vita.
While the trailer doesn't show any gameplay, it's clear that the classic oddball charm of Katamari is well in place in this new games. In addition the clip teases one of the game's most interesting new features – "stretch" and "shrink" abilities which we assume will utilize the handheld's front (and possibly back) touch screens. This definitely sounds like a good new step forward for a series that has always delivered fun but was beginning to get a bit stale.
While the game is currently under the simple working title "Katamari Damacy," we expect that might change at a later date. The screen above is from the Vita game.
