[Update]: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lands U.S. Release Date, Japanese Special Edition PS3
[Update]: A U.S. release date for Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been uncovered; the game will hit these shores on January 31.
[Original Story]: If my PlayStation 3 broke down as much as my Xbox 360, I might consider getting the newly announced Final Final XIII-2 PlayStation 3. As of now, this beautiful collector's item is only available in Japan, and I hate to say it, but I doubt this unit will release in any other region. Most Final Fantasy console exclusives like this rarely leave Japan.
Square's official website has also been updated with the game's Japanese release date. If you live in Japan, or can play games in Japanese, mark December 15 on your calendar. A U.S. release date has not been announced at this time.
