Transfarring Likely Between Metal Gear Solid HD Collection On PS3 And Vita

by Dan Ryckert on Sep 14, 2011 at 07:38 PM

While touring Konami's booth at TGS today, I  heard about a feature for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection that may hint at transfarring capability between the console and Vita versions. A rep for the publisher was explaining various features of the console version to me, including a constant 60 frames-per-second, the confirmation of the MSX Metal Gear games on the disc, and online co-op for Peace Walker. He also mentioned that it would support transfarring, but declined to elaborate.

Considering transfarring is Konami's technology allowing for console game progress to be taken on the go, it seems like a no-brainer that this would interact with the newly-announced Vita version of the HD Collection. We'll update when and if this is confirmed.
