Few video game weapons are more ridiculous than Space Marine's chainsword. Few contest prizes are more ridiculous than a life-size replica of said chainsword. And yet that's exactly what you can win next week thanks to a giveaway from THQ.
Warhammer 40K fans should head to the Space Marine Facebook page to sign up for a week's worth of giveaways. Here's what you can win:
- Day 1 (Thursday, September 1): 500 Xbox Live Premium Space Marine Themes
- Day 2 (Friday, September 2): 10 Space Marine Collector's Editions
- Day 3 (Saturday, September 3): 1,000 Xbox Live Avatar Props
- Day 4 (Sunday, September 4): Custom Airbrushed console (Xbox 360 or PS3)
- Day 5 (Monday, September 5): Chainsword
I can't speak to the quality of the other prizes, but the chainsword will really brighten up your desk. I can't guarantee your boss will appreciate it as much as mine, however.
