Law Firm Seeks Class-Action Lawsuit Against Take-Two

by Joe Juba on Aug 31, 2011 at 10:28 AM

Game development involves some long hours, especially when a studio is on the verge of shipping a title. A law firm is seeking Take-Two QA testers as plaintiffs in a case involving due payment for hours worked.

Alleging that testers were not paid properly for overtime (and some other benefits issues), the lawsuit was originally filed last year on behalf of Aaron Martinez. The legal process isn't very speedy, though. The case covers the dates of November 2006 to April 2007, and currently has a planned March 2012 court date.

Take-Two denies the allegations. For more info on the case, check out the full article at Gamasutra.
