Check Out Four Amazing Mass Effect: Invasion Covers

by Andrew Reiner on Aug 28, 2011 at 10:35 AM

Dark Horse Comics' upcoming Mass Effect: Invasion comic series hits store shelves on October 19. This series is penned by Mac Walters and John Jackson Miller, and features interior art from Omar Francia. The four covers shown here are from artists Massimo Carnevale and Paul Renaud, and will accompany the first two issues of the comic.

This story ties into the events of Mass Effect 3, and probably would have served as a nice lead in had the game not been delayed until March 6, 2012. I really want to know more about this Aria T'Loak character. Here are Dark Horse's product listings for the first two issues:

Issue 1:

The Omega space station is the center of lawlessness in the galaxy, a den of vice ruled by the deadly asari Aria. It is also a strategic foothold in a galaxy-wide power struggle, and when the station comes under attack from a new threat unleashed by the humanity-first organization Cerberus, Aria is forced to become more ruthless than ever to protect her home-and her dominion!

Issue 2:

Space station Omega is under attack by bizarre creatures from the center of the galaxy! Aria T'Loak, pirate queen of Omega, leads the charge against the grotesque invaders, but when the true threat behind them is revealed, Aria is forced to regroup and form a new strategy--or risk losing everything!

Sounds like the universe is in rough shape. I've enjoyed both of Dark Horse's Mass Effect comic series, and absolutely love the novels. Keep the side content coming, BioWare!
