Gears Of War 3 Goes Gold

Gears of War 3 hits stores on September 20, and Cliff Bleszinski and Epic Games are happy to announce that the game has gone gold.

Bleszinski chronicled the event at Epic's office with a shot of the celebratory cake on his blog. It may look like a Gears of War 3-themed Xbox 360, but we're sure it doesn't taste like one.

Congratulations.

You probably won't get to taste that cake, but you can feast your eyes on some screens of the game from Gamescom.
