StarCraft II Gets Unlimited Trial In Place Of Demo
When StarCraft II came out last year, it arrived with a small timed demo that gave potential players a small taste of the game. Now Blizzard has taken inspiration from what they already did with World of Warcraft, launching the StarCraft II Starter Edition.
The StarCraft II Starter Edition gives any player with a Battle.net account access to the first four single-player missions, two challenges, the ability to play as the Terran in multiplayer custom games, and four multiplay maps to check out. Players can continue playing this content for as long as they want, though they must play online.
Also of note, the Starter Edition allows players to watch any and all replays that they want. Anyone planning to give StarCraft II a chance now that they can play a significant bit of content for free?
