Mysterious MMO Project To Be Announced At Gamescom
Forget everything you know about Carbine Studios! Wait, you don't know anything about Carbine Studios? Oh, this will be easy then. Carbine Studios has been working on a top-secret MMO for the past four years now, and the studio and publisher NCsoft have announced that it will be revealed at Gamescom on August 17.
Aside from the art above, there's not much to go on at this point. Executive producer Jeremy Gaffney is vague about the project, though he does make a few bold claims. "[W]e think we've learned enough to make some dramatic steps forward," he wrote in a blog post. "We have developed some new ways of making online games; games that can adapt to you instead of the other way 'round."
Well, we're going to Gamescom in a few weeks, and we'll let you know what's up as soon as we hear it ourselves.
Here's hoping it has elves.
