PlanetSide 2 Announced

After dropping a few hints, Sony Online Entertainment has finally revealed the follow-up to the unique MMO/Shooter PlanetSide.

Like the first game, players will choose  factions and fight for control of a persistent, war-torn world. The game is a massively multiplayer first-person shooter, and as players progress, they earn new skills and unlock combat roles (some of which are returning from the previous title).
