CCP's EVE Online has been one of the success stories in an MMO market dominated by Blizzard's World of Warcraft. Now, the company is looking to increase its market share in Japan with a new partnership with one of Asia's leading online game publishers, the Korean company Nexon (best known for MapleStory).

This partnership will bring "fully localized game client and product services" for EVE Online in Japan allowing gamers in that country to play the game in Japanese when it releases on PC this fall. The partnership will also allow gamers to access EVE Online through Nexon's popular portal site and allow Nexon to handle billing and regional promotional and marketing duties.

Japan will later see release of the EVE Online tie-in shooter Dust 514 on the PlayStation 3 next year.
