LittleBigPlanet 2 Gets Final Fantasy VII Costumes
Sackboy isn't always adorable. If you add spiky hair and a giant sword, you've got a grim-looking burlap hero ready to save the world. With the upcoming Final Fantasy VII costume pack, your Sackboy can be just as awesome.
The PlayStation Blog revealed that the outfits for selected FF VII characters will go on sale at the PlayStation Store on July 13. Sephiroth, Cloud, Aeris, and Tifa each cost $1.99 each, but you can buy all four for $5.99 and get a Vincent costume for free.
The Final Fantasy VII pack is just one of three costume purchases you can make this month. This week you can buy good and evil versions of Cole MacGrath from Infamous 2, and starting July 20th, Killzone 3's Rico and Hazmat Trooper costumes will be available. Those costumes are bundled as packs and just cost $2.99 each.
The price discrepancy is interesting…it's almost like Sony expects that people will buy Cloud and Sephiroth outfits with fanatical devotion, regardless of cost. Who would do that? Oh, yeah – tons of people.
