I Am Alive Still Kicking, According To Ratings Board

by Jeff Cork on Jun 29, 2011 at 02:34 AM

Ubisoft's I am Alive is one of those games that surfaces every once in a while only to disappear yet again. It's been delayed several times since it was first announced in 2008, and development was essentially restarted to use the Splinter Cell: Conviction engine. According to the Australian Classification Board, there's still hope for the game yet.

The country's ratings board has seen enough of the game to give it an MA 15+ rating, citing I am Alive's strong violence. Aside from that and the game being listed as "multiplatform," there's not much other info on the ratings site. Still, it's nice to see that the game is still in production.

I am Alive is a survival/action/shooter set in Chicago following a massive earthquake. Players will have to contend with the unstable environments and survivors as they work to find rescue. For more info on the game, check out the official site.
