Rumor: New PlayStation 3 Model On The Way?

According to Andriasang, a retailer claims it has received information on a new PlayStation 3 model from Sony that offers a few subtle internal changes to the unit.

The rumored CECH-3000B is an updated 320GB system that cuts power consumption from 230W to 200W and weighs 2.6kg (down from 3.0). Andriasang also reports there are some changes to the power and eject buttons, and LED lamps have been removed, however the retailer did not provide specifics. Pricing for 3000B remains the same as the current model and will reportedly ship to retailers once the current models are out of stock.
