Prepare For Black Ops' Annihilation With Video Tour

If you're growing tired of the map selection in Call of Duty: Black Ops, fear not! Activision has announced details on the next wave of DLC, the Annihilation map pack. The download includes four new multiplayer maps and a new zombie level, to boot. As with previous map packs, this is a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360, so you may have to sit this one out for a while.

In the trailer below, the team at Treyarch highlights what you'll be up against on June 28. Here's a quick synopses for the impatient:

Hangar 18 is a medium-sized map filled with conspiracy-tinged Easter eggs. Most of the map's paths lead to and around the hangar, which is of obvious strategic significance.

The Drive In is fairly small, though it has a nice open spot in the middle.

Based on a Russian construction site, Silo is one of the largest maps in the entire game. Don't think you can sit back and turtle your way to the top of the leaderboards; because there are plenty of vantage points throughout the map, you'll need to stay mobile to win.

Treyarch drew inspiration from its World at War map Cliffside when they designed Hazard. This time around it's based around a golf course, however. Unless you're a sniper, you'll want to avoid the fairway. In fact, you may want to avoid the map if your sniping skills aren't up to snuff. Treyarch says this map is based almost exclusively on long-range engagement.

Finally, the zombie map Shangri-La is set in an exotic jungle. Unfortunately, it's also home to loads of traps and zombies.

Activision isn't talking about price for the pack right now, but if previous DLC is any indication you should probably save up about 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15).
