Kid Icarus: Uprising Includes Multiplayer, AR Features Teased
We’ve known about Kid Icarus: Uprising almost as long as we’ve known about the 3DS, and we learned a little more about it today at Nintendo’s E3 press conference. No specific release date was given, but Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned that it would be out by the end of the year.
Also shown was multiplayer support involving angels battling against each other. 3 vs. 3 support was promised, and it will be playable on the E3 show floor. A tease at the end of their Kid Icarus segment showed AR cards of characters battling against each other. We wouldn’t be surprised if they sell card packs like they did with eReader back in the day, but nothing is confirmed. We’ll let you know more as we check out Uprising on the show floor this week.
