Report: AT&T Partnering With Sony For NGP

IGN is quoting an inside source as saying that Sony is inviting publishers and developers to an AT&T-hosted 3G "symposium" next Wednesday at E3. Could this be the big info drop about how the NGP's 3G Internet connection will work?

There's no official info as of yet, but this report is very plausible. You have to assume that E3 2011 is going to be the NGP's coming out party, and it'll be a lot easier for Sony to hype up the device if it can point to concrete plans and pricing.

Sony's press conference is at 5 p.m. Pacific time on Monday. Get ready for more info about the NGP (PS Vita?) than you know what to do with then.
