Nintendo's EShop Coming To 3DS Next Week

by Jeff Cork on Jun 02, 2011 at 05:08 AM

Nintendo is launching its 3DS eShop next week, and they're offering a little incentive to boot. Starting the night of June 6, 3DS owners will be able to browse online with their handheld, as well as check out the new 3DS-specific store. And for a solid month, users will be able to snag an enhanced version of the NES classic Excitebike at no cost.

Other games available for download through the service include Super Mario Land, Alleyway, and Radar Mission. Nintendo says that additional content will be coming to the store each Thursday. Nintendo is also releasing a Pokédex 3D application, which lets players check out more than 150 of the little critters.
