What Do You Love Or Hate About L.A. Noire?

by Matt Miller on May 19, 2011 at 08:20 AM

L.A. Noire is one of the most distinct and unusual games in a long time. Now that the game is out, what makes the game amazing? Alternately, what about the game makes you tear your hair out?

If you're anything like the editors at the Game Informer office, you've spent a good chunk of the last couple of days diving into Rockstar's new crime epic, L.A. Noire. If you have, you've encountered a game that's quite a departure from both Rockstar's traditions in Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, but also a game that's unlike almost anything else on the market -- for better or worse.

What do you think about the mix of action and investigation? Do you enjoy the interrogations, or do they feel too limited in their conversation branches? Do you like the linear nature of the story, or would you like more player choice? Is the facial technology amazing to behold, or creepy?
