Final Fantasy Tactics Gets Release Date For iOS
Square Enix announced the project last year, but we hadn't heard anything in a long time about Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions coming to iPhone and iPad. The company finally announced today that the port will be available in June or July of this year.
The iPad version could trail the iPhone game's release due to the additional art being done to fit the iPad's 1024x768 display, but Square Enix doesn't expect a big gap between the two.
No word on price yet, but I'll be shocked if it's more than I'm willing to pay. War of the Lions is a fantastic re-skinning of a seminal game, and I'll play it again at almost any price.
When it makes its way to Android, anyway. I'm still hating on Apple for nearly bricking my iPhone 3G with OS updates.
