Ubisoft Motion Pictures Pitching Assassin's Creed 3D Movie & More
Ubisoft already got a Prince of Persia movie last year, and the company's new movie division is pushing to have Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon 3D movies by Hollywood.
Ubisoft Motion Pictures is working with the game franchise's producers to keep the spirit of the games intact, including storylines. "We want to keep ownership, retain control over the film content, and we're open to work with studios on the development of our projects, and eventually collaborate on the pre-casting, pre-budget, and script," Ubisoft Motion Pictures head Jean-Julien Baronnet told Variety.
Baronnet and the other UMP executives are traveling to Hollywood this summer to meet with studios and agents.
The company also has a 3D CGI Raving Rabbids series of seven-minute shorts that it is shopping around.
