Mass Effect 2: Genesis Comic Hits Xbox Live

by Joe Juba on May 17, 2011 at 11:37 AM

In order to get PlayStation 3 owners up to speed, that version of Mass Effect 2 came with an interactive comic that let players make some quick decisions about certain events in the original Mass Effect. Now, that comic is also available on Xbox 360.

You can pick up Mass Effect 2: Genesis on Xbox Live Marketplace for 320 MS points ($4). Just like the PS3 version, you'll be able to watch the comic (which takes about 10-15 minutes), make a few choices, and then import that info into a new Mass Effect 2 game.

Personally, I thought the motion comic was pretty stupid. That's especially true for the 360 version, because you can actually play Mass Effect instead. But if you want to stare at a handful of still images instead of play a super-awesome game, go right ahead.
