Rumor: God Of War Portable Collection On PS3?

The God of War Collection (which included the two PS2 entries remastered in HD) was a huge hit on PS3. Now a similar treatment may be in the works for the two PSP installments.

According to The Magic Box, Ready At Dawn's handheld entries in the series (Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta) are slated for an HD collection. The current rumor is that the collection would hit Asia on July 7, though no mention is made of North America or other territories.

That release date seems pretty early to me, though not completely implausible. At any rate, we'll keep you posted with any new developments.
