Microsoft Says Number Of Kinect Games Will Triple By Year's End
In a press release focused on the strong sales the Xbox 360 console and 360 games in the April NPD, Microsoft also said that the number of available Kinect titles will triple by the end of the year.
The release pointed to strong momentum for Kinect and Kinect games at retail, revealing that Kinect Sports has sold more than 3 million units worldwide and that the Harmonix's Dance Central has moved more than 2.5 million units.
Following this was the statement: "And in anticipation of another record year in 2011, Microsoft announced the size of the Kinect games portfolio will triple by the end of the year."
That's good news as many have noted that software support for the peripheral has been very disappointing so far.
