Portal 2 Authoring Tools Now Available
If you can't wait to start making your own diabolical Portal 2 test chambers, good news: A beta of the authoring tools is now available. Keep reading to find out what it allows you to make.
In short, pretty much everything. According to a new post on the official Portal 2 website, the tools allow users to create "singleplayer and co-op maps, new character skins, 3D models, sound effects, and music." The post also contains resources for those who are getting started, so check it out if you're interested.
I can't wait to see what challenges the community creates, and I hope that Valve still has plans to release user-made content on consoles as well. In the meantime, I'll continue salivating over the official DLC that's on its way.
